Folder Synchronization

August 4th, 2009

There are a lot of times when I work on my desktop and later want to continue working on my laptop when I am away, but I can’t because I didn’t make a current copy of my work. So I wait till I get back to my desktop to continue. Keeping track of two of the same file is not only a pain but it causes headaches. BUT I have found folder synchronization to be an ideal solution to this problem.

To give you an example of how folder synchronization works:

When I work on my websites I do a…

Internship at ITI

July 23rd, 2009

It is the summer quarter at Baker now (and has been for a while) and I decided to take a speech class and the required internship for my Bachelors. I was lucky enough to find an internship relatively fast and have been working there for almost a month now. The company is called Integration Technologies Inc. and they offer a wide variety of information tech services; anything from spyware prevention & spyware removal to full on network implementation. They are based right here in Muskegon, and their office is only 10 to 15 minutes away. But I get…

New Site Design, Finally Done

July 21st, 2009

It’s been quite a while, but I am finally posting again. Here is the new design to my site. I took a lot more time with this one; I think it’s a lot more fun than the last one too (try hovering over any images!). It took a while to get everything lined up and working correctly and I am sure there are still bugs to be worked out, so if you find anything, I would love to know!

I have added some features to the blog sections as well. You can now share these posts on your various social…

Media Server: PS3-XBOX 360

April 2nd, 2009

Hello everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates, the last couple of weeks I had to take care of finals and whatnot, plus I have been working on a new website for Victory Township, check it out!

Anyways, to the media servers…

There are a lot of ways to access data on your PC and view it on your TV, but if you have a Playstation 3 or XBOX 360, it makes this a lot more convenient. There are many programs that will turn your PC into a media server (a machine that shares media over a network), but MediaMall’s…

Thanks and Future goals…

February 25th, 2009

I would like to thank everyone who has visited my site and gave me feedback, you have all been a great help. I have had to fix a few major errors you guys found, but that’s a good thing because the site is a lot tighter now. I hope you guys will continue to visit and add your comments, thoughts, and suggestions!

I haven’t used the feature yet but I can add any new post to my Facebook feed or something, or at least add something about my post to facebook. I’m not too sure how it works it, it was…

Welcome!

February 13th, 2009

Hello everyone! Welcome to my newly created website. I wanted to show my web skills and gain the experience of making and maintaining a webpage. My favorite part of the site is the flash navigation bar I made with Abobe Flash and with the help of some flash books.

I also wanted to have a place all my own to post thoughts…

Please leave me comments. I want to know what everyone thinks about the site. Also if anyone comes across any errors, pages or something that doesn’t seem like its working right let me know and I will fix it….
